The Supreme Court has dismissed the petition filed by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atilku Abubakar, challenging the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC in the 2019 Presidential Election.
Atiku and his party, the PDP, had in a petition, challenged the reelection of President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a judgment delivered by the seven-man panel led by the Chief Justice of the Federation, Tanko Muhammad, ruled that the appellants failed to prove their case beyond reasonable doubt.
