Danjiwa community clamor for social amenities

The Mogaji of Danjiwa community in Oke-Ose, in Ilorin East local government area of kwara state, Alhaji  Ishola Seriki has called on the state government to as a matter of urgency come to the aid and intervene in the current situation being experiencing by the people of the community as a result of lack of social amenities in their community.

Seriki made this call while speaking with National Moonlight reporters at his palace recently, disclosing  that lack of social amenities in community has been a big challenges to the development of the area, pointing out that lack of public school in the community is affecting their wards in the area.

The traditional chief emphasized that the poor living condition of the residents are living could not allow them to take their wards to school outside the area, saying that the indigenes of the community could no longer boost of any development both socially and economically.

Seriki commended the kwara state Governor Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on his efforts at meeting with the masses demand, describing him as a God chosen and merciful governor which kwarans has been looking for.

 Speaking with the Imam of the community, Alhaji Saka Soliu expressed dissatisfaction over the abandonment of the community by the previous administration, as regards the poor water system especially in the community with epileptic power supply.


He said that they had to go a long distance to fetch water and the water is not even hygienic for drink but with no option, calling on the government to come to their aid and rescue the community from contacting communicable disease.
