A group called *Kwara APC Unity Group, KAUG*, has launched investigation into the lingering crisis rocking the party in the State. In a statement jointly signed by the group’s Chairman, Charles Olufemi Folayan and Secretary Barr. Shehu Bashir, they noted that party men can no longer pretend that all is well with the party in the state while folding their arms and turning a blind eye to the crisis that is capable of robbing the state the much anticipated developments.
In the same statement released to Just Event Online , they posited that the party victory in the 2019 general elections was made possible by the resolve of Kwara people to exit the slavery system of government by the previous administration which made the APC the best choice for the people, a privilege we should not take for granted.
They insisted that the party should never toy with the victory achieved but rather put our house in order to deliver dividends of democracy at all levels.
They informed the public that they have launched investigations into the root cause of the crisis and would begin consultation visits to relevant stakeholders immediately within and without.
They therefore implored all the stakeholders within the state, both within the government and party hierarchy to eschew crisis and avoid statements capable of further instigating the crisis.
They equally warned party members to desist from inciting utterances that are capable of exacerbating the crisis.
