MORO BRIDGE; A CLARION CALL: KUDOS TO KWSG & JUST EVENT

The ancient bridge located at Moro, Northern part of kwara state has been neglected by the past administration in the state.

The road which is part of mechanism that's driving economy of the state due to it linkage to both international, national and local communities like Benin Republic, Saki in Oyo state and Igbeti.

The bailey bridge has been playing a vital roles on the life of people living at the  area before it collapsed but JUST EVENT ONLINE PUBLICATION expressing optimistic with the urgent directive by the state governor and speedy action by the road maintenance officers

The abandoned bridge has been a great challenge ranging from road accident and insecurity but recently our correspondent visited the area and called on appropriate authorities to find a lasting solution to the menace cause by the bridge.

Meanwhile, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq has directed the ministry of works with immediate effect to deploy officers of Kwara Road Maintenance Agency for the rehabilitation and repair the bridge.

A confirmation visit by our correspondent discovered that officers of Kwara State Road Maintenance Agency (KWARMA) are at the site  and the work has commenced.
