Just like others, we have come to serve,
Unknowing here's where I'll meet my better half.
As destiny wanted it, we accidentally came in contact,
And from the start, never knew we're signing a life contract.
I found love, peace, confidence, trust and every reason to live,
And in return of your faithfulness, a lot I'm willing to give.
The past had left my heart to bleed over and over,
Undeservedly I had been forced to make regrets and suffer.
I never knew it was sinful to be truthful, loyal and honest,
So, I mistakenly chose to be humble, receptive and funniest.
But maybe, what I have learnt from them were factual lessons,
That I needed to undergo to stumble upon these blessings.
Roughly ten months in your heart, I feel completely secured,
The pains and worries they'd left, have been entirely cured.
What else could I have ever wished for again?
When you've compassionately offered me a lot to erode my pains.
Every single day renews my love and trust I have in you,
Because you always proved to me that your feelings are true.
The journey that bind us together has nearly come to an end,
Would like to thank you for my broken heart you perfectly mend.
Thank you for always making yourself available in dire times,
And sincerely for always overlooking my emotional crimes.
While NYSC has decided to part our ways and shut its gate,
I hope we realise our love is a product of a sincere fate.
Just know that nothing can stop me from loving you,
Even though on this transient trip, we're through.
I know how deep your love has been from the start,
And how costly I have been considered to your heart.
Please understand that you're not just important to my life,
You're whom God has ordered me to make my wife.
... Just know that people could truly know the beginning of this love. The end is what I'm assuring you none would ever attest to. I have loved you. I love you. I will keep loving you. ❤
