Oloriegbe Celebrates Emir of Ilorin 24th Years on The Throne, Urges Muslim Faithfuls to Imbibe Virtues of Holy Prophet

The representative of Kwara Central in the Red Chamber of the National Assembly Dr. Ibrahim Yahya Oloriegbe, had joined well-wishers from far and near to felicitate with the Emir of Ilorin, the Chairman of Kwara State Traditional Council, HRH. Alh. Dr. Ibrahim Zulu Gambari on the 24th anniversary of his coronation as the Emir of Ilorin while also praying for more fruitful years of reign.

His Eminence, Dr. Ibrahim Zulu Gambari ascended his father's throne as the 11th Emir when he was turbaned on the 11th day of November 1995, precisely 24 years today, and during his reign, Ilorin and indeed Kwara as a whole has witnessed tremendous growth and development thanks to his endearing leadership skills and fatherly roles he kept playing all these years.

In a congratulatory statement released to the press, Oloriegbe lauded the Emir's efforts, and commitment in ensuring and promoting unity, therefore preserving peace within the Emirate and Kwara State in general.

In his words: "Our profound gratitude goes to Almighty Allah for another year of bliss and grace accorded our Royal Father, the Emir of Ilorin,  Alh. Dr. Ibrahim Zulu Gambari. Today marked his 24th years on the ancestral throne of Shaykh Alimi and indeed we, as his royal children, could but only appreciate the rewarding life of bliss divinely given him."

"For under his guidance, counseling and also his incredible foresight at fostering harmony and unity while also promoting our tradition and culture, Ilorin Emirate and Kwara as a whole have immensely benefited in terms of peace, growth, and development. His endearing leadership styles and fatherly roles and supports have taken us to momentous places and we believe we have more fruitful years under him."

"We felicitate with him and also fervently pray to the Almighty Allah for more glorious years in good health for our father while wishing him many more blissful times as he reigns."

On a similar note, the medical doctor turned lawmaker also use the opportunity to felicitate with the Muslim Ummah in general on the occasion of the Maolud Nabiyy "Birthday Celebration" of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) urging them to be steadfast in abiding by the Prophet's teachings and message of love, unity and worship to The Almighty Creator Allah (SWT), while also citing the remarkable coincidence of today's occasions as signs of good things to come for Ilorin Emirate and indeed Kwara as a whole.
