Kwara Monarch Commend Shagaya Foundation Solar Project. 

Chairman Salman Shagaya Foundation Alhaji Sheriff Shagaya has been commended yet again by the Kwara North monarch for extending the foundation's solar light project to their communities.

The Emir of Okuta Alhaji Dr. Abubakar Idris Sero,
Kperogi Afon Serobetete ||, commented on behalf of Baruten Emirate Council that Kwara North appreciate the efforts of Shagaya Foundation in providing alternative electricity power for their people, during the team visit to his palace on the ongoing statewide installation of 4,000 solar panels in Kwara state on Saturday.

Alhaji Abubakar noted the provision of solar embodied great understanding of people's needs which he believed would be judiciously used. He said Kwara North need more of such intervention by well- meaning Kwarans and groups.

"We appreciate the foundation provision of solar to Okuta and Baruten Local government communities. It is a nice development, no doubt our people would value and use them judiciously. Your intervention is invaluable," he praised.

Echoing his opinion, Emir of Kaiama Alh. Muazu Shehu Omar described Sheriff Shagaya as "remarkable young man worthy of encomiums", for his consistency in serving humanity, " on the path of honour he chose to walk", while expressing gratitude to the team.

In a similar vein, Kikon of Gwaria Alhaji Salihu Yakubu Bawa admonished the foundation to be unrelenting in pursuing socio- economic development in the state, while praying that posterity be kind to the philanthropist.

"We are happy to benefit from your project. Obviously the people appreciate it and we are indeed grateful. May Allah uplift the founder", elated Kikon prayed.

Meanwhile, the foundation installation team which have reached Baruten and Kaiama local government areas like Yashikira, Ilesha, Gwanara,  Kenu/Tabera,  Boriya/Shiya, Gure/Gwasoro, Sinawu/Tumbuya, Bode/Babane, Bwen/Kiyoru, Kpura/Yakira, Okuta, Gwaria have taken a week break in preparation for the foundation 16th Relief Money Scheme slated on 8th Sunday, 2019.

The Foundation's Press Secretary, Ibraheem Abdullateef assures continuation of installation in Kwara North and eventually other districts of the state after their program on Sunday.
