KWARA CENTRAL TOWN HALL MEETING: Oloriegbe To Provide Sustainable Empowerment For 500 Women, ICT Training For Youths In 2020
The Chairman Senate Committee on Health Matters and Senator representing Kwara Central, Dr. Ibrahim Yahya Oloriegbe has revealed that he will provide sustainable empowerment for 500 women, train youths on advanced digital skills and build modern toilets for selected schools across 52 wards in his constituency.Senator Ibrahim Yahya Oloriegbe disclosed this on Saturday during Town Hall Meeting held at State Banquet, Ilorin.
He said the women drawn from Ilorin West, Ilorin South, Ilorin East and Asa local government areas will be trained and receive cash to start sustainable businesses during 2020 fiscal year.
He added that hundreds of youths would also receive ICT training and get necessary support to deploy their knowledge for productive venture, stating this move aims at reducing unemployment as well as youth restiveness.

Oloriegbe hinted that he will facilitate 10 transformers and build modern toilet in selected school at every ward within Kwara Central Senatorial district.
The Senator explained that many schools do not have toilets and this can cause diseases like cholera and others.
On health, the Medical Doctor said his would ensure distribution of drugs and upgrade some health centres in 2020 budget cycle.
While presenting his scorecards, Oloriegbe said: ”I have facilitated federal College of education to be located in Afon ASA LGA and Federal physcratic hospital, Budo Egba roads and secure employment for some people among others.
”On the empowerment opposition people are carry about on social media, it’s mischievous because they failed to investigate the truth of the matter,
”It was my wife that did that in her own capacity to put limits to begging in Kwara Central Senatorial District unknowingly opposition will paint her effort black.”
Some benefiting communities of boreholes and transformer installation like Gerewu in Warra-Osin Ward also sent representative to attest to good works of Senator Ibrahim Oloriegbe.
The Senator promised to ensure equity distribution of projects across the four local government areas in the district.
