Baruten LGA lifted out of darkness over a decade; Kwara never had a government before AbdulRazaq assumed office says Community
•Kwara never had a government before AbdulRazaq assumed office - Baruten Community
The Kwara State Ministry of Energy few weeks ago embarked on rural electrification projects across the state in line with the current administration's plan to provide communities with basic infrastructure such as electricity which plays an important role in economic growth and development as envisioned by the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq led government.
It is on that note the good people of Ilesha-Baruba in Baruten Local Government Area of the state received the good news and long forgotten experience of having their community being connected to the National Grid after many years of being in darkness.
The entire community expressed happiness and joy over this development especially after over a decade of neglect, Ilesha-Baruba and other adjoining communities benefited from this administration's resolve to ensure no part of Kwara is in darkness. The communities elders took turn to reiterate that Kwara never had government before Governor AbdulRazaq assumed office.
The Honourable Commissioner for Energy, Hon. Aliyu Sabi Kora is expected to visit Ilesha-Baruba and some other construction site in Baruten for assessment and evaluation of work thus far.
