Succour as Goal Aimers Initiative Kwara State donate Clothes, Food items to Psychiatric Home.
A Non-governmental organization; GOAL AIMERS INITIATIVE, known for its Humanitarian Activities, has again donated "received Fairly used Clothes" which includes Clothes;Trousers, shoes of different sizes and types, as well as food stuffs (Garri, Kulikuli and Semovita) to Olorunda Trado-Psychiatric Home, Eiyenkorin Ilorin, Kwara State.
During the Team's visit to the privately owned Psychiatric Home, a brief speech and admonition was delivered in Yoruba dilect by the Head of the Psychiatric Home; Alh. Soliu Folorunsho (Olori Olorunda) who's a Traditional Doctor that specializes in phychiatic Therapy and all kinds of life problems.
In his admonition; He stated "it is by the way will of God you remembered this place today, and I must confess I am highly impressed with your kind gesture. You are all young people with a very big heart, I will urge you not stop the good work you have started because certainly what ever one sow he will reap".
He stated further, "Your initiative is a very unique one and I pray God will grant you more wisdom in making more impacts to the less privileged ones".
According to the Lead-Volunteer, Mr. Saeed Tijjani, stated that the Organization's mission is to reduce poverty, cater for the less privileged and to immensely contribute to the Goal 1 of the Sustainable Development Goals which says "No Poverty" and in doing so we can't shun away from serving humanity, as well as helping people who are in need.
"Today's outreach was successful because Some good Samaritans within the State contributed i.e donated the materials we have come to present here today. And we are assuring you that the more the good people of Kwara keeps donating, we would as well keep reaching out to more concerned and affected persons".
Abdulqaudir Sanni, a member of the Team also added his voice to lend credence to the gesture, stating why we do not have to keep waiting for Government to do all that is required for everyone, and that is also part of the team's motivation to contribute in its own little way as a Youthful team to the well being of the downtrodden who can barely afford fairly good clothes or foot wears.
Alhaji Soliu Folorunsho Olori Olorunda in his final remarks appealed to well meaning Kwarans and Nigerians to keep assisting the psychiatric home with food items, stating that food is very essential and it enhance treatments.
The team visibly seeing how elated the beneficiaries were, assured their Traditional Doctor of more visits and more campaigns for the needy, especially in areas of food items, clothing and foot wears.
