Ilorin Sufism Cleric Becomes World Record Holder

A prominent leader of Tijaniyah sect in Ilorin, Sheikh Amb. Dr Abubakar Sidiq Yusuf Abayawo has become World Record Holder after he received Certificate of Recognition from an India-based organisation, Cholan Book Of World Records as the 'Most Distinguished Man in the World'.

The event which took place yesterday at his Madinah residence in Ilorin has in attendance, Captains of Industries, Muslim Scholars, academics and host of other people who were there to witness the record-breaking event where the Sheikh was conferred with the prestigious honour becoming the second African man after Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi to be recognised for the honour by the organisation.

The president of the organisation in Nigeria, Professor Buhari Issah who represented the founder and overall president explained that Sheikh Abubakar Yusuf popularly known as 'Baba Agbade' is recognised for his giant strides towards the development of Islam and Sufism path across the length and breadth of Nigeria through education, religious preaching, peace advocacy amongst others.

"Today 14th March 2020, I stand here to tell all people here presents, that the journey to this recognition started with many accolades, dedication, service to the humanities, fraternity, creating peace, teaching moral values, highlight on moral awareness, desecration, fantastic and good to be a truly great teacher of Sufism in the world till date and was part of your proselytizing and preaching of Islam.

"After inquiries and satisfactory responses from the committee and lawful source, Cholan Book of World Records dims it fit to present this World Record to you as a great achiever in your chosen field. Henceforth, you are highly recognized as world Records holder with all right and privileges under the juries of Board of Cholan Book of World Records and international laws. By power bestowed on me by the founder and the board of Juries as president of (CBWR) I declared you as World Record Holder and approved you to use the initial of WRH always. He said.

Giving background details of the organisation, the don said, "The Cholan Book of World Records (CBWR) is registered with TM REG 32253 in India as World Records Organization, accredited by International Standard Organization (150) with number 91S191627, also registered with International Standard Book Number with Number 9788194269748. Furthermore, our objective is to bring the achievers up to the light and recognize their valuable achievements.

While reacting to the feat, Amb. Dr Abubakar Yusufu Sidiq appreciates the organization for the honour bestowed on him with promising not to relent in his selfless services to Islam and humanity.
