As Kwara pledge to key into campaign to end open defecationThe Special Adviser to Kwara State Governor on Sustainable Development Goals, Dr Jamila Bio Ibrahim has been decorated as Ambassador by the Clean Nigeria Campaign
The decoration, which was done by the acting National Coordinator of the program, Mrs Opara Chizoma took place today in Abuja, after Special Adviser to the Kwara State Governor on Sustainable Development Goals on behalf of the state governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq pledged to key into the Clean Nigeria Campaign to end open defecation in the country.
Dr Jamila Bio Ibrahim, who visited the Clean Nigeria Campaign secretariat in Abuja pledged Kwara State commitment to key into the national program aimed at making Nigeria open defecation free by year 2025.
This was done In a bid to achieve SDGs Goal 6, which target achievement of access to adequate and equitable sanitation and hygiene for all and end open defecation, which also includes paying special attention to the needs of women and girls and those in vulnerable situations.
