INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION AND TENDER FOR YEAR 2020 CAPITAL PROJECTS

1. INTRODUCTION:
The Government of Kwara State has approved the renovation of some selected health facilities across the state. To this end, interested contractors with relevant experience are hereby invited to tender for the following projects:

LOT 1: Renovation of Primary Health Centre, Magaji Are 1.
LOT 2: Renovation of Primary Health Centre, Magaji Okaka 1, ilorin South LGA.
LOT 3: Renovation Basic Health Centre, Alapa Ward, Asa LGA.
LOT 4: Rehabilitation of Primary Health Centre, Pakata Ubandawaki, ilorin West LGA.
LOT 5: Rehabilitation of Primary Health Centre, Tanke, Ilorin South LGA.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
• Evidence of incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) icluding form CAC and CAC7.
• Evidence of registration with Kwara State Ministry of Works.
• Evidence of tax Clearance Certificate for years; 2017/2018/2019
• Current Company’s Audited Account for years; 2017/2018/2019
• Proof Of Pension Compliance Certificate
• Verifiable current NSITF Compliance Certificate
• Company’s profile to include at least four (4) key personnel with their academic and professional certificates
• Proof Of Financial capability from reputable commercial banks.

Arrangement of the technical documents should follow the order in the list above and be paged.



COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS:
Bidders are to obtain tender documents from the project unit of the Ministry of Health, llorin between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm dally from the above date of this publication upon the payment of non-refundable tender fee to Kwara Internal Revenue Services (KWIRS)

SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENT/BID OPENING:
Both the technical and financial documents are to be in sealed envelopes clearly marked “TECHNICAL & FINANCIAL BID DOCUMENTS FOR LOT.” at the left corner indicating the project and address to the office of The Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Health, Fate Road, Ilorin.

Submission of bids shall close at 12:00 noon on 31 March, 2020, Two (2) weeks from date of publication Opening of bids submitted shall commence immediately at office of the permanent secretary



GENERAL INFORMATION:
• Bids submitted after deadline would be rejected and returned unopened.
• All costs will be borne by the bidders.
• Ministry of Health, llorin is not bound to prequalify any bidder and reserves the right to cancel the bidding process at anytime without incurring any liability in accordance with Section 28 of the Public Procurement Act 2007
