The Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial District, Senator Oyelola Ashiru, applauds the Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, on the appointment of Dr. Thomas Adewumi, as the Chancellor of Kwara State University (KWASU)
In a congratulatory message made available to news men, he described the appointment as worthy and dignifying.
“Dr. Adewumi is a man of repute that has enhanced education development in Kwara State and he has caved a niche for himself, with over two decades of outstanding legacy in education.” He says.
Senator Ashiru expressed confident that the new appointed chancellor, an educationist per excellence, will bring his wealth of experiences into the university to achieve its objectives.

He further appreciates the Governor, His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, for appointing a qualitative man to occupy such a reputable position.
Dr. Adewumi is the founder of Thomas Adewumi International College, Oko. The college has won many awards to Its credit.
