COVID-19: Religious Houses Remain shut –Kwara Govt

 Even with the recent lockdown ease from The Presidential Task Force PTF on covid-19 permitting religious houses to open with some guidelines strictly put in place, The Kwara State Government just like Kaduna state Government has insisted that Religious House would remain shut till further Notice.

The Kwara State Government says churches and mosques in the state remain closed despite the ease on the ban placed on worship centres.

 News Agency of Nigeria (NAN)  stated that;

 The State Commissioner for Health, Dr Raji AbdulRazaq, on  Tuesday 2nd of June 2020 , said the Federal Government hinted on lifting ban on religious activities, and gave modalities to the states on how they can implement it in their various capacities excellently.
 
Dr.  Raji reiterates that the state would come up with befitting resolutions after thorough deliberations following the PTF recommendations and come out with what would affects it people positively in general.

The commissioner therefore warned that the government is yet to lift  ban on religious activities and so religious house should strictly adhered to the social distancing rule
