THE GOVERNMENT OF KADUNA STATE

CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION

RECRUITMENT OF MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS AND

OTHER HEALTH WORKERS

As part of its determination to improve health outcomes, the Kaduna 

State Government has been implementing a programme to expand citizen 

access to decent healthcare services.

To this end, investments are being made in primary, secondary and 

tertiary health facilities. The state government has also established the 

Contributory Health Insurance Scheme to enable enrolees to access 

health services without incurring out-of-pocket expenses.

In its quest to further strengthen and expand the provision of essential 

health services for the people of Kaduna State, KDSG is seeking qualified 

and committed medical professionals and other health workers in the 

following disciplines:

1. Medical Doctors

2. Pharmacists

3. Radiographers 

4. Physiotherapists 

5. Nurses/Midwives

6. Audiologists

7. Bio-Medical Engineers

8. Medical Laboratory Scientists

9. Medical Laboratory Technicians

10. Medical Records Officers

11. Dental Therapists

12. X-Ray Technicians

13. Pharmacy Technicians

14. Medical Social Welfare Officers

15. Nutritionists 

16. Environmental Health Officers

17. Community Health Officers

Qualification and experience

· Applicants to be employed for any position must present 

evidence of the following:

o Relevant certificates from recognised institutions

o Current license to practice (where applicable)

o Registration with professional body/bodies

o Evidence of NYSC discharge/exemption certificate 

(where applicable)

o Medical doctors must present evidence of certificate of 

registration with NMDC, while possession of

Postgraduate Fellowship qualification is an added 

advantage.
