9japarrot has received an update on the recent development from the management of the National Assembly over the shuting down of part of the complex Housing. The House of Representative describe this as “routine fumigation” exercise, and  becomes mandatory over a suspected case of Corona virus.

 This was furthermore disclosed and confirmed in a circular referenced NASS/HR/MSD/ClR/003/IV138 and signed by Titus Jatau, a Deputy Director of the management read;

“Approval has been granted for the 2nd quarter fumigation exercise to be carried out tomorrow Thursday, 18th and Friday. 19th June, 2020.

During the 2 day exercise, all staff of the the house are expected to stay away from the complex. They’ve been directed to resume normal duties on Monday June 22, but it is still not clear if scheduled House committee functions will go ahead or not.
