Patigi APC Support Groups Organized Special Prayers in Commemoration of One Year in Office of Gov AbdulRazaq

The All Progressive Congress (APC) Patigi LGA chapter under the Chairmanship of Alhaji Mohammed Swansun and her support groups organized special prayers of thanksgiving to Almighty God to mark the one year in office of Mallam Abdul-Rahman Abdul-Razak’s tremendous achievement as Governor of Kwara State.

The prayer which was spare headed by the Chief Imam of Patigi Alhaji Ndana Mohammed and Pastor Benjamin of Ecwa Church had in attendance imminent party personalities, Alhaji Ibrahim Attahiru Manko, S.A to the governor on Youths and Sport; Hon. Adam Ahmed Rufai, Kwara State House of Assembly Member Representing Patigi Constituency; Arch Thomas Audu Gana, former Council Chairman; Hajia Zainab Haruna, Senatorial Woman Leader; Hussain Nda Mohammed, Patigi For Buhari Coordinator, M.J. Baba; Education Secretary; Patigi NURTW Chairman, Alhaji Foni, Mr Emmanuel Landu, Party Executives, APC elders, members of traditional rulers and other party faithfuls.

According to the Party Chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Swansun, the central theme of the prayer is to thank Almighty Allah for bringing Mallam Abdul-Rahman Abdul-Razak at a time Kwara State was in need of resuscitation after decades neglect and very importantly to beseech Allah to continue to guide and guard His Excellency in steering the affaires of Kwara State and journeying its to the promise land.

Hon. Adam Ahmed Rufai eulogize the governor on his giant strides since he assumed office most especially in the development of Patigi, Kwara North, and the state at large. Hon. Adam further stressed that since the return of democracy in the state, Patigi has never received much attention from the past Governors but Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq has broke the jinx. He further appreciated the Governor on his commitment towards better education in Patigi as the renovation of Patigi Secondary School is a top notch and would provide a conducive environment for learning.

Hon. Adam Rufai further appreciate the Governor on the infrastructural development like road construction in his constituency and also the resuscitation of the Patigi water works amongst other great job the Governor has done. He pray Allah guide and guard the Governor to further develop the state and deliver on his mandate.

Mr. Nda Husaini Mohammed, the Coordinator of Patigi for Buhari in his remark, appreciated His Excellency Mallam Abdul-Rahman Abdul-Razak for giving youths sense of belonging in his government by appointing them into key governmental positions. He further described him as a game changer and transformer who is busy changing and transforming Kwara State for better. He appealed to the governor for a more opportunity for the youths, especially those of Patigi LGA who he said, are versatile in waiting to be tapped for development.

In his opening prayers remark, Alhaji Ndana Mohammed, the Chief Imam of Patigi beseech Allah to protect Mallam Abdul-Rahman Abdul-Razak, his cabinet members and entire state, make Kwara State a more flourishing State under the current leadership. This was corroborated by Pastor Benjamin who offered prayers on behalf of the Christian faith.

Alhaji Ibrahim Attahiru Manko, S.A to the Governor on Youths and Sport, in his closing remark thanked the party leadership for organising prayers for His Excellency and the entire state. Nothing the importance of prayers, he said prayers of the entire Kwarans is the reason His Excellency, his principal is prospering in the affairs of the state. He craved for more support from the party and the people to the government.
