- Use Sallah period to pray the country come out of Covid 19 strong
Just as Muslims across the globe celebrate Eid-el-kabir, Ilorin Emirate for Unity and Development initiative (IEUDI) have urged Muslim ummah to pray for the country to come out of the deadly world health challenge strong, so as for the affairs of the nation to move forward.
The group also used the occasion to sue for tolerance, peace and unity among the citizens irrespective of tribal, religion
In a Sallah message by the National President, Alh Yunus Bello Oniboki released by its National Publicity secretary, Tunde Razaq Adebayo, it enjoined Muslims and non-Muslims alike to practice their religion in line with the teachings of love, unity, peace, sharing, sacrifice and tolerance to all.
IEUDI also particularly urged Muslims to imbibe the spirit of commitment and loyalty as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim who was commanded by Allah to slaughter his son Ismail.
It said,the commandment which was reversed by Allah at the last minute was a test of Prophet Ibrahim's commitment, loyalty, perseverance and Iman to the cause of Islam and Almighty Allah which serves as a great lesson for Muslims.
While urging the citizens to pray for all leaders at the realm of affairs, the group urged all to be security conscious, remain law abiding and be good ambassador of their various house holds.
The group also use the occasion to assured all that it is ever ready to collaborate with relevant agencies to protect lives and prosperities of every emirate indigene as it is committed to ensure good standard of living for all in the Emirate.
