Without the emotion of being burdened by explanation, I'm writing to present a woman of good virtue, an erudite academician who has distinguished herself from many of her contemporaries. Her eloquent articulation is flawless. This woman, without mincing words, is living up beyond what is expected of her. I recalled some students who were opportune to have raport with her, commending her for the motherly role she played during their visit without any form of favouritism or discrimination.
I appreciate nuance, understand complexity, and embrace flexibility.
I have been opportune to meet Haijia Modibbo kawu more than once, and I still hope to see more of her again because what I do table before her put many smiles on her face. She's everything good we all marvel at. I look up to her as my role model after the meeting we held with in her office. I'm not a politician, precisely why I don't expect any praises or cheap political score. I had listened to a lot of song in my community, in a small gathering, among stakeholders, during the selection of female commissioners.
My opinion was that nobody is perfect we only need to do our best and that God will perfect our imperfection. We have all sorts of people and it is not everyone that can fit into any matrix. No one at any level is indispensable.
I am an advocate for equality between both man and woman folks. I believed so much in competent women, I really do appreciate them. The question I used to ask was that "are all the female commissioners worth it?" "Are they important enough to be sought?" But I didn't get the right answers to those questions until the day I first met Hajia Modibbo Kawu. I could smell the competency, the vibes, the power to listen to many people and comprehend every bit of the conversation immediately, she's precisely the type we all youth would want to look up to as our role model.
She's humane, she's the type that always wants to be part in anything that adds value to all aspects of life. She is an exemplary leader with a dignified personality, she is indeed an epitome worthy of emulation.
