- Says he is a fine police officer
Ilorin Emirate For Unity and Development Initiative (IEUDI) has congratulate the new commisioner of police of cross river state, CP Lanre Jimoh describing his appointment as laudable considering the fact that he is a seasoned police officer who has paid his due in the security architecture of the country.
In a statement issued by the National publicity Secretary of the association,Mr. Tunde Razaq Adebayo the group expressed the hope that the new police boss in the state will bring his wealth of experience to the bear to ensure a secured environment in the state.
"As a fine police pfficer who has distinguish him self, we urge you to take up the new task with all sense of responsibility and be assured of our support, as your appointment was received with joy."
The group also enjoined Lanre Jimoh to discharge his duties without fear or favour and prayed God to grant him the wisdom needed to pilot the Affairs of the new office.
While urging the new CP to be rootless in curbing crime to the bearest minimum in the state, stressing that crime has become the bane for the growth of the society, hence need to be uprooted.
The group also called on the entire sons and daughters of the emirate to see as the new task of the New CP Lanre Jimoh, as a task for all which they must support him in prayer for him to succeed as he is an ambassador of the emirate.
