The AbdulRazaq led Kwara state government through the Ministry of Works has commenced construction work on the collapsed Oko-Erin bridge that claimed lives a couple of weeks ago in order to make the bridge accessible to residents and businesses around that axis.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq directed the urgent rehabilitation of Taiwo road through Oko Erin/Osere to Asa Dam including the damaged Oko Erin bridge that collapsed due to overflow and flooding of the bridge to forestall further hardship.
The Commissioner for Works, Engr. Rotimi Iliasu was at the construction site to fast track the rehabilitation work so as to avoid hampering economic activities due to the reconstruction of the bridge.
This is coming out of prompt response from a responsible and concerned government whose priority is to ensure the welfare of the masses is promptly attended to whenever the need arises.
