Oloriegbe commiserate with Kwara Govt, grieves over Logun's death






The Chairman Senate Committee on Health and the Senator representing Kwara Central at the National Assembly, Dr. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe has expressed grief over the death of Alh. Aminu Adisa Logun whose death was announced today.

Logun, who died of COVID-19 complicated illness was until his death the Chief of Staff to the Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazak, having chaired the transition committee that ushered in the new administration before his appointment.

In a condolence message made available to the newsmen, Oloriegbe expressed that; "Alh. Adisa is one of our big brothers whom we were looking up to while growing up. He was a successful industrialist, firmly principled, and astute manager of resources. 


"He was one of the low-key active players amongst the elders that contributed immensely towards the liberations of Kwara with Otogẹ Struggle which yielded fruition in the last general elections.

"The late Chief of Staff was an exemplary character whose love for his community and people therein cannot be underemphasized.

"I hereby commiserate with the Kwara State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Abdulrahman Abdulrazak, the Emir of Ilorin and the immediate survivors of the deceased. May Almighty Allah grant him forgiveness and eternal rest as well as granting all that he left behind the fortitude to bear the loss."
