THOSE ASKING FOR DISBANDMENT OF PROBE PANEL ON ASSETS DON'T MEAN WELL FOR KWARA -KMC

A leading Pro-Democracy group  in Kwara State, Kwara Must Change has

described the demand of members of the defeated dynasty, which seek

the disbandment of the probe panel, set up by the Kwara State

government to probe and recommend sanctions against looters of Kwara assets and properties as laughable, adding that it doesn’t expect anything less from the beneficiaries of corruption.

In a statement released by Kwara Must Change convener, Abdulrazaq Hamzat, it said that those who seek the disbandment of the probe panel don't mean well for the state and are probably amongst those that are jail bound,owing to their culpability in the criminal sharing of Kwara properties

without paying any fees or following due process.

According to Hamzat, Kwara Must Change had gone through the Senator Ajadi's report severally and it didn’t come across any indictment against the Chairman of the probe panel as being insinuated, noting that such false misrepresentation is to divert public attention from their own culpability.

Hamzat also added that, even if perhaps there's an indictment against one of the members, disbanding the panel can not be an alternative, neither does the baseless accusation of witch hunt hold water.

Kwara Must Change therefore urges the Probe panel to carry out its assignment with all sense of impartiality, giving all affected

individuals fair opportunity to present their cases before making final recommendations to the government.

The group also advised those raising dusts to learn from the empty dust raised by their leader, Senator Bukola Saraki over Ile Arugbo and what eventually transpired in court, adding that the probe panel is unstoppable.
