In a bid to sensitize people about a free, fair election devoid of violence. Soliu Arowolo Adam has pen down a short and mind blowing poem made available to 9japarrot .
He directed the poem to the good people of Edo State.

Edo do not be tricked
By the greedy and pot-bellied politicians
Fear them, because their tongue is coated with honey
They are the manufacturers of lie.
Edo do not be fooled
For their eyes is full of deceit
Do not sell your right for poverty
For they will promise you life but will cease your breath.
Edo, they will come to you
In hundreds and thousands they will come to your abode
Like the walk of morning sunshine
They will want to woo you with thick-wad of notes.
Edo, you are now wise
Do not fall to their trap
For they will give you pebble and walk away with gold
No! Do not be deceived.
Edo, it's time to rise and shine again
It is time to be freed from the shackle of poverty
Edo, I saw your glory dancing above the sun
Do not vote for a tyrant.
Edo, it is time to clean your tears
It is time to vote for the candidates of your choice
That will give you:
Standard education, good water and health care, well constructed roads and longevity of life.
Edo, vote for the candidate that
Will let democracy live
Vote wisely
For "Had I known"
Is not a good tale to tell.
As we are looking forward to the governorship election that will take place in Edo State tomorrow. I urge the people of Edo to vote for the best candidates. And I also urge the electoral body and the security personnel to allow every voters to cast their votes. They should not in anyway disenfranchised voters from voting the candidate of their choice, Soliu said.
