The Kwara State Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon. Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa (BOB), has been described as a true Ambassador of Peace and Unity, not only in Kwara State but in the country as a whole.
Similarly, the State Secretary, Alh. Mustapha Isowo, and every other members of the State Party Executives, have been commended for taking part in the recently held APC Unified Meeting', recently chaired by the one and only party Chairman, Honourable Bolarinwa, which marked the end of the recent ensued among some members of the party and the Executive Arms of Government in the State.
This commendation was contained in a message issued by the former TIC Chairman of Ilorin West Local Government, who is also a leading aspirant in the expected forthcoming Local Government Elections in Kwara State,Hon. Abdul-Hameed Oladipupo Alli (Mr. Nigeria), who has taken it upon himself to be singing songs of reconciliation since the crisis began and this he did until his much agitated peace returned to the party.
Speaking on why he went as far as meeting with very close alleys of the Governor,Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq,such as Oloriewe Raheem Adedoyin,Alh. Mustapha Isowo,Alh. Adefalu,Alh. Olosasa among others too numerous to mention on one hand and such party faithfuls as Akogun Iyiola Oyededepo, Chief Rex Olawoye, Prof. Shuaib Oba amongst others on the side of the party, Hon. Alli said that he closed to to canvass for return of peace and Unity because that is the only way the government and party can succeed. Even when he was castigated for trying to seat on the fence by those who believed an Aspirant should belong to either of the warring camps, the journalist turned grassroots politician maintained his position of ensuring total peace returns and even went as far as writing an Open Letter to the Acting National Caretaker Chairman of the APC, Governor Banu Mai Mala and took his campaign for peace to the doorsteps of the Kwara APC IN LAGOS led by Alh. Ganiu Mohammed, an elder brother to Alh. Lai Mohammed, hon. Minister for Information who is believed to also belong to a faction while the crisis lasted. He equally took the peace campaign as the founder of the APC PEACE AMBASSADORS, to Ogidi Ward where himself and Senator Ibrahim Oloriegbe,who is representing Kwara Central hails from.
Among those who have congratulated him after seeing the Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq's visit to the Information Minister, Alh. Lai Mohammed,in Abuja and after seeing the Unified meeting held in Ilorin was Alh. Abdulwaheed Akosile, the Manager News,at Bond FM, who once received Hon. Alli, during one of his Peace Visit to the Bond FM newsroom in Lagos.
