KwaraSocialAudit: Gov AbdulRazaq releases documents to ENetSuD

According to a statement signed and made available to 9japarrot by Usman Radhiyyat Taiye (Mrs), the

Elites Network for Sustainable Development (ENetSuD), dated 2nd of September 2020.

Which reads;

The Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has released documents to the Elites Network for Sustainable Development (ENetSuD) to carry out the Social Audit program proposed by his administration. It will be recalled that the social audit program was conceived, proposed and approved by the Kwara State Government (KWSG) after inviting ENetSuD as the first Civil Society Organization to implement it in the state

ENetSuD sought to explore the Social Audit program to promote good governance by ensuring the provision of essential goods, services and quality projects to the people, so that money budgeted and released for projects works for the citizens “Kwara money works for Kwarans”. 

ENetSuD will also use the program to train community-based organizations (CBOs) across the State, empower them to be advocates of good governance through participation in project tracking and monitoring, and make them to always demand probity and accountability. 

Following some due processes followed by ENetSuD as agreed with the Governor and in compliance with our operational template, documents for the following projects have been released to ENetSuD for the first phase of the exercise:

1. Government High School, Ilorin (a project of the present administration)

2. Patigi Secondary School, Patigi (a project of the present administration)

3. College of Education Road, Ilorin (a project of the present administration)

4. Gwarana Road, Baruten LGA (a project inherited by the present administration from the past administration)

5. Diamond Underpass, Geri Alimi (a project inherited by the present administration from the past administration)

6. Cargo Terminal, Airport Road, Ilorin (a project of the past administration)

ENetSuD is implementing the Social Audit as part of its #FollowKwaraMoney activities and is not receiving any payment from the government or any of its agents for the program. 

ENetSuD will also make its findings public through its official online channels (Facebook: @enetsud; Twitter: @enetsud; website: enetsud.org), in addition to its offline channels on Sobi (1:00 pm every Sunday) and Royal (9:00 am every Tuesday) FMs (Ìmójútó Owó Ará Ìlú program).
