The Senator representing Kwara Central at the Red chamber of the National Assembly, Dr. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe has extended sympathies to the victims of rainstorms in Ilorin for their losses.
The Senator in his condolence message to the victims made an assurance that his efforts have been put in place in collaboration with the State government to give succor to ameliorate the loss recorded.
The message reads...
"I am using this medium to share in the pains of our people over the loss of lives and properties to rainstorms that wreaked havoc overnight till the dawn of today.
"The unfortunate incidence is a natural disaster that no human being can question, but, to resign to the will of God whilst praying to Him for His divine intervention.
"On that note, I want to assure our people that in collaboration with the State government and National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), we have hit the ground running towards bringing them succor to ameliorate their plights. We are with them during this trying period, may Lord forestall a reoccurrence of such." Oloriegbe said.
