SMK: MOTEST COMMISSIONER BAGS MOST VALUABLE COMMISSIONER (MVC)

Hon. Abdul- Hameed Alli (Mr. Nigeria), and Hajia Sa'datu Modibbo Kawu

The Kwara State Commissioner in the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Science and Technology (MOTEST), Hajia Sa'datu Modibbo Kawu, has  been honored with the prestigious MOST VALUABLE COMMISSIONER (MVC) Award, in recognition of her contributions towards injecting additional values next to that of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, in Kwara State.

Presenting the award at a modest ceremony in Ilorin, the publisher of Kwara People magazine and a former TIC Chairman of Ilorin West Local Government, Hon. Abdul- Hameed Oladipupo Alli (Mr. Nigeria), described Hajia Saadat Kawu as a youth worthy of emulation and a role model to political elders which were among the qualities which earned her the prestigious award.

The publisher turned politician disclosed that he has been watching the transformation the Honourable Commissioner has been making in the Ministry since her assumption of office, which he said is similar to the approach he is putting in place for his proposed Ilorin West Transformation Continues Agenda, if he becomes the elected Chairman of the local government in the expected forthcoming Council Election in Kwara State.

Hon. Alli, further described Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq as a visionary leader to have brought in personalities of Hajia Kawu into his regime. He prayed for continuous success of the Governor and Hajia Kawu's husband, Mallam Is'haq Modibbo Kawu respectively.

In her response, the honour was full of thanks to the organisers of the award for finding her worthy of the honour. While promising to continue doing her best in adding more values to the administration of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, in her own little way, she described the Publisher of Kwara People magazine as a visionary youth whose vision for Kwara State and Nigeria is great, having started publishing at the age of 16 and later became the foremost indigenous magazine publisher in Kwara State in 1992 at the age of 18. She called on well spirited Kwarans to join her in supporting the Kwara People magazine and similar projects which could add more value to the entire polity.
