Waziri Gobir Commiserates With Emir of Ilorin, Orire Family Over Loss Of Patriarch

Chairman, Gobir Organization Foundation, Waziri Yakubu Gobir has commiserated with the family of late retired Justice AbdulKadir Orire (CON), the Emir of Ilorin, and the entire Ilorin Emirate over the demise of one of the Emirate's great fathers.  

Waziri Gobir in a statement by his Press Secretary, Abdulwahab Tajudeen, described the death of Justice Orire (rtd) as a colossal loss to the family and people of Ilorin Emirate.

"Late Orire was a caring husband, a loving father, a peacemaker, a legal luminary and one of our pride in the Emirate, Kwara State and Nigeria as a whole. He was the pioneer Grand Khadi of Kwara State Sharia Court of Appeal between 1975 and 1999. In his lifetime, he was an erudite scholar of Islamic Jurisprudence and a vast propagator of Islam whose contributions to the growth of Ilorin Emirate cannot be overemphasised."

"It is my prayer that Allah gives the Emir of Ilorin, and the entire Orire family fortitude to bear the loss. May Allah SWT forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds with Aljannat Firdaus, Amin."
