The Senator representing Kwara Central at the National Assembly, Dr. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe has canvassed for peaceful conduct during the upcoming party membership registration and revalidation of All Progressive Congress (APC).
Oloriegbe appealed while speaking at the country home of the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazak where the registration exercise was flagged-off by the committee in charge led by Sen. Danboyi as they revalidated the governor's membership of the party.
Oloriegbe noted that Kwara State is recognized for peace and harmony and such should be displayed before, during, and after the exercise.
He enjoined the existing party men to not only revalidate their membership but as well mobilize new members to join the party.
The lawmakers emphasized that being members of the party is the only legitimate way through which one can take part in decision making. He also appealed to the people and residents of Kwara State to continue their supports for the incumbent administration so that more dividends of democracy could be enjoyed.
