Barrister Titilope Akogun (BTA) Foundation in furtherance of her initiative tagged "STEP UP 2021 & OPERATION SAFE WATER" paid a courtesy visit to his Royal Majesty, the Olomu of Omu Aran to intimate the Olomu of the Foundation's mission and vision in ensuring safe and clean water for the community with particular emphasis on creating impact, uplifting the youth and empowerment for the market women.
Barrister Titilope Akogun intimated the Olomu in council as regards the activities of the foundation and the projects in stock as the BTA Foundation commence her first project in Omu Aran axis covering 11 communities in total, which is Operation One borehole per community.
The aim is to alleviate the suffering of business entrepreneurs and market women.
The Olomu appreciated the youth for not channelling their strength and resources towards substances or drugs but rather towards their community development.
The Olomu of Omu-Aran admonish that in Omu Aran and environs, public infrastructures like the Borehole project in view and other critical assets are given the topmost protection because the residents and people of the town are the direct beneficiaries of these infrastructures, hence their proper maintenance remains a top priority for the traditional institutions. He thereafter pledged his support and commitment towards the success of the community intervention in Omu Aran and other Communities of Irepodun Local Government of Kwara State.
The Foundation, his team and the Leader of the Movement, received royal blessings from the Royal Throne.
The Omu Aran Development Association (ODA) ably represented by the President (General Abidoye) and General Secretary (Chief Jide Oyonloye) were also in attendance at the palace of Olomu of Omu Aran.
