Gov. AbdulRazaq’s Respect For The Traditional Institution Is Unparalleled— Elese

...Governor to pay working visit to Igbaja on Saturday

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s disposition to the traditional institution in the State has been described as one that is above the common standard.

Elese of Igbaja, Oba Ahmed Awuni Babalola Arepo III made the assertion when he received a son of the soil and senior special assistant to the Governor on community intervention, Kayode Oyin-Zubair in his palace during the week.

Elese who is also the chairman of Ifelodun traditional council commended Governor AbdulRazaq on his sterling performance and implementation of welfarist programmes.

In his words; the Governor has shown to us that he has come to serve the masses with a number of people-centered projects he had embarked upon. We are happy as royal fathers and custodians of traditions and values, our rights are not trampled on.

“I appreciate him for successfully rehabilitating Igbaja Water Works despite all odds. We are equally grateful to him for providing the enabling environment that will support the establishment of a school of rehabilitation in Igbaja district and other facilities spread across the district.

“It is my prayer that his administration will be successful on all fronts with peace and tranquility”, the first class monarch prayed.

Meanwhile, the Governor’s aide, Kayode Oyin-Zubair had hinted the monarch that, the Governor will pay a working visit to Igbaja to commission and receive on behalf of government, the second Doctor’s Quarters built by Igbaja Pathfinders Organization for the community’s Cottage Hospital.

Oyin-Zubair said the government had cleared 300 hectares of land in Adanla-Irese (a community in Igbaja district) ahead of the planting season. According to him no less than 100 farmers will cultivate the farm.

He added that, every impediment hindering the flow of water from the water works has been removed including energy related problems.

He therefore called on the people of Igbaja and other communities in the district to give more support to the incumbent government in the State to foster development in the area.
