In an attempt to increase observance to the COVID-19 protocol and improve healthcare delivery, the wife of the Senator representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, Hajia Maimunat Oloriegbe has through her NGO, Matta Girl's Foundation gave sanitary items to the management, and patients at the Kwara State General Hospital, Ilorin.
Hajia Oloriegbe and the members of her group were at the clinic today on a please visit to the hospital management for the laudable services giving to the patients that patronizing the health facility.
According to her, "my coming here is not only to make donations but to also laud your efforts in delivering quality healthcare services to our people. I can attest to your commendable services during my visits to a relative that was admitted here last week.
"The visits had further acquainted me with the challenges confronting you, and I am assuring you of my dogged commitment to ameliorating these challenges that are albatross to your services. Especially, the issue of water supply.
"I will talk to Distinguished Senator, (my husband) on the need to extend support to this facility through his office as the Chairman Senate Committee on Health. And from us at Matta Girls' Foundation, this is the beginning of a harmonious and humanitarian relationship with you."
The management of the facility through the Chief Medical Director, Dr. Ahmed Bola Abdulkadir appreciated Hajia Oloriegbe for the generous gesture extended to the patients and the management, describing her as a compassionate mother who wishes to make quality healthcare services available to the people.
The items donated include large quantities of hand sanitizer, face mask, detergents, tissue papers amongst others.
