Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has felicitated with the Christian faithful on the occasion of the Easter celebration.
Rt Hon Danladi-Salihu through a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sheu Abdulkadir Yusuf, called on Christians to continue to uphold everything Jesus Christ symbolized such as love, peace, tolerance, forgiveness, sacrifice and unity.
"I felicitate with all Christian faithful on the occasion of Easter celebration, I urge them all to continue to thank God for His faithfulness as well as show kindness, love, tolerance, forgiveness and unity towards their fellow being in line with the teachings of Jesus Christ". The Easter message read.
Similarly, Danladi call on Christians to continue to support Kwara State Government with prayers in its quest to take the state to the next level of development and pray for continuous peaceful and harmonious coexistence of all in the state of harmony.
Rt Hon Danladi-Salihu, therefore, enjoined the Christian faithful to enjoy the season and be moderate in their celebration.
