Budo Ikoko Residents Go Ecstatic As Oloriegbe Puts End To Age-Long Water Plights

An unalloyed feeling of joy pervades the atmosphere of the Budo Ikoko Community in Asa Local Government as the Senator representing Kwara Central at the National Assembly, *Dr. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe* brought an end to the perennial non-availability of potable drinking water in the community.

The lawmaker who noted with dismay the report of BBC News Yoruba indicating the unwholesome impacts the non-existence of potable drinking water was bearing on the inhabitants of the community, leaped into action to provide succor to the age-long plight of the residents of the area.

The jubilant residents of the community all wore beatific smiles as they took turns to appreciate the Senator for his humanitarian gesture that brought lasting respite to their plight, describing him as a responsible and responsive representative that prioritizes the needs of his constituents.

According to Alh. Sumonu Ishola who is the community head of Budo Ikoko: "We are grateful to Senator Oloriegbe for actualizing the pressing need of our village and that which has brought eternal relief to everyone that had hitherto been facing difficulties in accessing clean and safe drinking water.

"This generous gift will improve the general health, welfare, and productivity of our community and wipe out the risk of contracting diseases from drinking unsafe water.

"We have been hearing about his benevolence and generous disposition to cast aside the bane of rural areas and make living more comfortable for its dwellers.

"As he brought happiness into our lives, it's our prayer that God continues to bless him, accepts his prayers, and gives a reality to all your aspirations."
