Majority Leader, Kwara State House of Assembly of Kwara, Hon. Olawoyin Magaji Abubakar has urged Muslim around the world to emulate the virtues of the Prophet Mohammed as they celebrate Eid-l-Fitri to mark the end of the just concluded one month Ramadan (fasting).
The state lawmaker representing the Ilorin Central Constituency in a statement made available to 9japarrot by his Media Team, enjoined Muslim faithfuls to prioritize peace, unity and healing of the world in all they do.
"I have taken advantage of this year's Eid-l-Fitri opportunity to urge all Muslims to take lessons during Ramadan and to continue to love and engage with ordinary people in society as symbolized by the Prophet Mohammed", Hon. Olawoyin said.
"When we all follow in the footsteps of Prophet Mohammed and the teachings of the scriptures, peace, tranquility and development will prevail in society." He added
I therefore heartily felicitate with Muslim faithfuls and pray that we witness more of this auspicious occasion on earth.
