Unilorin Final Year Student On Surprise Visit To Boyfriend, Dies In Car Crash




A 400L student of the department of Zoology, Faculty of Life sciences of University of Ilorin, identified as Moyin has lost her life in a Car crash along Omuaran, Kwara State on Wednesday.

According to source made available to 9japarrot , Moyin enroute Ado-Ekiti in Ekiti State to pay a surprise visit on her boyfriend after the Federal Government had declared Wednesday and Thursday as Public holiday for the Eid Il fitri celebration when she met her untimely death.

Her Hostel mates disclosed that they had not seen Moyin ever since she cashed out at the POS store in front of her hostel raised alarm and contacted the Boyfriend to know if she was with him, but he said No and further explained that, they did not make any arrangement to meet while the break lasted.

Upon getting the “needed clarification” from the boyfriend, the concerned friends embarked on frantic search and placed calls to different quarters. While at that, a fellow student from a nearby hostel had noted that she told him that she was going to Ado-Ekiti that Wednesday around noon. The friends eventually got back to the boyfriend who was surprised by the feedback from the friends.

Without hesitating, the boyfriend went straight to the Ilorin park at Ado-Ekiti for enquiries and he was briefed that, a bus coming from Ilorin had an accident at Omuaran and that the victims were at the General Hospital, Omuaran. When he got to the Hospital, the hospital management upon sighting the picture of the lady with him, directed him to the Mortuary so as to confirm and quite unfortunately, the lifeless Body and only casualty of the crash was that of Moyin.

Friends and Classmates of Moyin has since been thrown into mourning ever since the news of her tragic end filtered in. Our medium also learnt that Moyin is expected to seat for an examination this morning (Friday) before her untimely death occurs.
