The Kwara State University, Malete has announced the death of a very vibrant and intelligent lecturer, Dr. Sanni Ahmed Shehu.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi SAN, confirms this development in a statement made available to our medium through Abdulrazaq Sanni, the University Director of Relations.
The VC statement as qouted said;
"On behalf of the management, staff and students of the University regret to announce the sudden passing away of Dr. Sanni Ahmed Shehu who died in the early hours of Monday, 5th July, 2021."
Dr Sanni Ahmed Shehu was a lecturer at the Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Crop Production.
The late academic was a very astute, diligent and scholarly fellow who will be greatly missed by his family, colleagues, and the University community at large, the statement added.
"While we pray Almighty Allah to forgive him of his shortcomings and grant him Aljannah Firdaus, we also beseech Him to grant his entire family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss."
"We, therefore, urge the University community to keep the Sanni's in their thoughts as they go through this difficult time."
