Inuwa Kwankwaso, immediate younger brother to a former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, is dead.
The Coordinator, Kwankwasiyya Media Centre, Sanusi DawakinTofa confirmed the death in a statement made available to The PUNCH in Kano on Monday.
According to the statement, the deceased died at the age of 64 in the early hours of Monday at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital after a protracted illness.
Kwankwaso, who was a retired civil servant and an Agricultural Engineer trained in Ibadan and United States of America, worked with the Afforestation Project in Kano for many years.
He has since been buried in accordance with Islamic rites at his home town, Kwankwaso, Madobi Local Government Area of Kano State.
