The KW-IRS boss reiterated that KW-IRS will not relent in ensuring delivery on its reform objectives and as the first and only ISO Certified Revenue Service in Nigeria, it is resolved to maintaining and sustaining the requirements of the two ISO certification-Quality Management System (QMS 9001:2015) and Business Continuity Management System (BCMS 22301: 2019) by continuous demonstration of commitment to customer satisfaction, resilience and business continuity regardless of any incidence or threats.

“The use of expertise, refined processes, and modern-day technology, to outclass our peers in the country remain our focus” stated Omoniyi.

Other discourse during the orientation week include sessions on creativity, Innovation and Teamwork towards the right attitude of staff on the job and on enhancement of revenue for the actualization of the set developmental goals of Kwara State.

You will recall that notice of recruitment of Revenue Officers into 11 Area Offices of the Service, (Baruten, Kaiama, Edu, Ekiti, Ifelodun, Irepodun, Isin, Offa, Oke-Ero, Oyun, and Patigi Local Government Areas) was published on the 9th of April, 2021, with a total of 12,056 (Twelve Thousand, and Fifty Six) applications - 63% and 37% males and females respectively.

A total of 1,663 were shortlisted for the Computer Based Test (CBT), while 529 out of them qualified for the subsequent interview session.

At the end of the exercise, 100 (One Hundred) candidates were recruited to fill in available spaces and join existing staff of the Service at the 11 Local Government Areas outside Ilorin metropolis.
