The National Association of Nigerian Students has conferred on Engr Ogunleye Emmanuel An Award of Honour.
The investiture award which held in Abuja earlier today, Friday 17th December named the dignified personality and Engineer by profession as NANs Individual Giant of Honour
While delivering the investiture speech in Abuja, the NANS Executive Project and Empowerment Secretary, Comr Adebayo Kayode Joshua, NANS Executive Project and Empowerment Secretary noted that it's an happy moments to welcome dignitaries across divides to the August occasion.
Comrade Kayode further elaborate that NANs as the apex body of Nigerian students always deliberates about sundry issues ranging from the dangling economy, insecurity in Nigeria, abuse of power by political office holders and the dilapidated state of infrastructures across the tertiary institutions in Nigeria, among many others and of which a communique is always being delivered to the appropriate quarters for onward action.
However, it will interest you to know that senators of NANS and critical stakeholders mentioned individuals and corporate organizations which has contributed meaningfully in terms of community development and educational support; people/organization that fall under this category were ratified for NANS National Recognition Award.
Owing to the fact that, in Nigeria we seems not to celebrate the living legend, we only celebrate them when they are no more. Kayode added
NANs noted in the speech that the Individual Giant of Honour Award for Engineer Ogunleye is a way of dignifying his amiable personality, ygoodwill vis-a-vis support to less privileges, scholarship programs, rehabilitation of borehole etc.

Sir as an Engineer you have distinguished yourself, by helping the downtrodden with your hard earn money, we have seen you giving hope to the hopeless, reckoning with the "I have nots" and providing succor to the despised. Comr Kayode said.
We are here in our numbers today to celebrate you, show our token of appreciation and motivate you to do more for the betterment of humanity.
Our hearty prayer is that may the good lord continue to elevate you and prosper your ways.

Nigerian students in our numbers wish to assure you that we shall stand for you and be of support whenever the need arises, you are a leader that's suitable for our emulations as comrade.

On behalf of over 40.1 million Nigerian Students I congratulate you and welcome you to our hall of Fame based on your iconic deeds.
Conclusively, the leadership of NANS look up to you for a more robust engagement and support in terms of our activities in the coming year as you have joined the league of critical stakeholders and supporters of our viable organization.
