The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has rejoiced with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq over his emergence as the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors' Forum,(NGF).
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari also seeks the support of the remaining 35 state governors to rally round their new chairman in order to achieve their desired unity, peace and prosperity among Nigerian citizens.
The Emir, in a goodwill message issued on Wednesday by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, thanked the entire members of the NGF for trusting and having confidence in the Governor of Kwara State to become their chairman adding that, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq will no doubt live and lead beyond their expectations."
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, on behalf of the entire members of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers' Council expressed his heartfelt felicitation to the Governor for ensuring that Kwara State remain strategic to the economic and democratic growth of the nation.
While wishing him laudable accomplishments in his new tasks, the Emir expressed confidence that the new leadership of the NGF will pilot and support the incoming President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in the actualization of his Renewed Hope agenda for the people of Nigeria.
He therefore prayed that Almighty Allah grant the Governor and his colleagues and the entire leadership of the NGF sound health and wisdom in the course of serving the nation and humanity in general.
