The Executive Chairman, Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board, (KWSUBEB) Prof. Sheu Raheem Adaramaja has called on Muslims, and indeed all Nigerians, to continue to pray fervently to God for the peace, security, unity and progress of the country.
The best of Eid is not determined by the size and number of sacrificial rams one is able to kill, nor is it by the expensiveness of clothes adorned on Eid's day.
It is a season for everyone to be grateful for Allah's blessings in our respective lives.
Let us all use this time to mend our relationships with others, promote inter-religious and political tolerance.
The University Don wishes the Muslim faithful the blessings and guidance of Allah, urging Nigerians to embrace peace, love, tolerance and sacrifice.
He prayed for a peaceful and pleasant celebration, stressing that the significance of the Islamic event towards the enhancement of peace, security, unity and progress of the nation is enduring.
