Exploring Nature: Student Group Set To Visit Owu Fall In Kwara

The National Association of Kwara State Students (NAKSS) in a bid to explore nature is set to embark on a trip to the popular Owu waterfalls in Kwara State.

Owu Waterfall is a waterfall located in Owa Kajola in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, Nigeria. It's the highest waterfall in West Africa measuring 120m above the water level and cascades 330 feet down an escarpment, with rocky out crops to a pool of ice-cold water below.

According to a statement by the welfare director of NAKSS National body and Chairman Tour and Hiking Committee, Afeez Saheed; the adventure has become a necessity in a bid to explore the beauty of Nature and to showcase to the world the kind of natural blessings we're embodied with as a state.

And also an avenue for students to have a feeling of Nature's networking to create a refreshing memory and to have a great experience of visiting one of the tallest waterfalls in Nigeria.

The statement also added that it has made the registration easy ahead of the official date for the trip which comes up on Sunday, 25th June, 2023.

Interested participants are enjoyed to come along with their joggers, sportswear, water bottle among others.

Afeez also added that to make the experience a beautiful and seamless one, the body has partnered with the Kwara State Government, media houses and other relevant agencies and stakeholders.

While urging all interested participants to ensure they register before the deadline, He made available to the public that all requests and concerns can be channeled to: 09157779575
