Ministerial Slot: Youth Group Push For Kwara North To Sustain Equity, Justice

A notable group under the aegis of Kwara North Youth Initiative Pioneer and Stakeholders have make case that their senatorial district should be given paramount consideration in the formation of executives by the new Government.

The group made this appeal earlier today during a press conference which had in attendence reputable media houses and newsmen across the state.

The group while appealing to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kwara State Governor and all other relevant stakeholders said it is important at this period in time to ensure the next Minister from Kwara State is zoned to the North senatorial district.

The press reads;

Distinguished gentlemen of the press, We members of Kwara North Youth Initiative Pioneer and stakeholders in our request for equity, justice, and for our people. 

The number of our touring youths that are craving for employment over the years is alarming while we are still lagging in the arms of infrastructure development. Be that as it may, there is the need to state that Governor Abdallahman AbdulRazag has done incredibly well for us in the last years in his deliberate efforts to let our zone catch up with the social and structural development of other Senatorial Districts of Kwara Central and Kwara South and we are very grateful to his Excellency. Nevertheless, for fundamental reasons, we want to strongly appeal for the support of Governor Abdullahun Abdulitazaq and other stakeholders to cede the ministerial appiontment to Kwara North even if it's only one slot that is coming to the state.

This call becomes necessary because the two Senatorial Districts of Kwara South and Kwara Central produced the two Ministers on the same platform as the ruling All Progressives Congress throughout the eight years of President Muhammadu Buhari in office. The two Ministers are Alt Lai Mohammed immediate past Minister of Information and Culture from Kwara South and Senator Ruqayyat Ghemisala Saraki Minister of State for Solid Minerals from Kwara Central respectively. Because of this poignant fact, Swara North is therefore the next priority zone for consideration of material appointment in the present dispensation of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tubu. The consideration of Kwara North for the ministerial appointment became imperative when we also consider the huge turnout of votes from the zome in the last general elections.

We strongly believe that no one can love and care for you more than very well hence the consideration of Kwara North for the ministerial ment would in no small measure bridge the gap of high ployment rate, social amenities, and infrastructure defiest in the mon in the last eight years of President Muhammadu Buhari we could not point to any significant benefits in Kwara North from the two Ministers in Kwara Central and Kwara South other than their concentration in their zones

We are equally pleading for commensurate appointments at both state and federal levels in supporting our cause for better development in Kwara North. It's our turn in Kwara North and we appeal to our loving and caring Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq also Chairman of Nigeria Governors Forum to understand with us and support our request.
