Yetunde Gold a Lagos based Influencial and Her Blue lily Humanitarian Empowerment Initiative has evacuated the long aged refuses in Kwara community.
The bin refuses which has been abandoned for over 5years at the Chapel Junction, Tanke Ilorin Kwara State got the needed attention through the Blue Lily Foundation.
The Clean Up tagged: Paint Kwara Blue started on Saturday 22, July 2023 morning at hours of 7am-10pm which 10toones of Refuses was evacuated.
In continuation and in collaboration with relevant agencies in Kwara State, on the 23rd of July, 2023 Her Team continue the clean up to ensure the Junction received climate change and the community to have a new better breath of air.
On the Second Day, 7toness of refuses was also evacuated totaling 17toones of refuses.
Yetunde Gold in her comment said; "I believe in community development and together we can build a better community, I came all the way from Lagos State for this Clean Up for the growth of the community."
"I want to appreciate the volunteers, KWEPA Staffs and the entire ministry of Environmental, and the Management Board of Chapel School for their collaborative effort and great job done" she added
Even when it was raining they still continue to work and we still continue to strive higher and ensure our goals and targets is reached, she added
