The Ogun State government has commenced the conversion of state mass transit buses, including staff buses and public transport buses to CNG
Announcing this development, the State Governor, HE Dapo Abiodun noted that it'll reduce the cost of transportation by charging rates that are commensurate with what was obtained before subsidy removal.
"The CNG project demonstrates the commitment of our Administration to a greener environment, and it ensures affordable means of transportation in the State, especially in the wake of the removal of subsidy on fuel by the Federal Government in May" the governor added
