Kwara Gov's Aide Facilitates Solarized Borehole For Asa LG Community

 

In a bid to alleviate the long-standing water scarcity facing Okepete Oniyangi Community in Asa Local Government Area, the Special Assistant on Drug Abuse Prevention and Control, Hon. Aileru Olamilekan Mukail, has facilitated a borehole for the community.

The borehole, facilitated through Optimistic Farms and Agro-Consult, was officially handed over to the community in a ceremony attended by Hon. Mukail, community leaders, and residents.

While handing over the borehole, Hon. Mukail urged the community to make the most of the facility, emphasizing the importance of access to clean water for public health and sanitation.

He also commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his people-oriented policies and interventions, saying,

"A day like this has become a reality because someone gave a youth like me the opportunity to thrive. His Excellency, Gov AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has made this a reality for me and many youths, and we pray God will keep guiding him appropriately."

The community welcomed the Governor's aide with joy, celebrating the intervention with praise songs and commendations for the Governor. The community leaders expressed their gratitude to Hon. Mukail and the Governor for the timely intervention, saying,

"This borehole has brought relief to our community. We are grateful for the Governor's kindness and Hon. Mukail's swift intervention."

Afolayan Samuel Ifeoluwa, CEO of Optimistic Farms and Agro-Consult, lauded the intervention, noting that water is essential for life.

He commended Hon. Mukail for his swift assistance and pledged continued support for communities to access basic amenities, saying,

"We are committed to working with the government to ensure communities like Okepete Oniyangi get the attention they need. This borehole is just the beginning."

The facilitation of the borehole is part of the Governor's efforts to ensure access to basic amenities for all communities in Kwara State.
